Golf Course Projects

CLUBHOUSE PATIO LANDSCAPE  - JULY 2013 - SEPTEMBER 2013
(Our goal for this project was to enhance the beautiful view and dining experience on the clubhouse patio.  The project entailed a new landscape design and establishing turfgrass up to the edge of the patio.  See below for before and after photos!

BUNKER EDGE RESTORATION - MARCH 2013 - ONGOING
(Our direction for this project was to uncover the original edges by Ken Dye and restore them to his original design.  Along the way we modified some of the edges making them more practical to manage.  This was also a good time to re-position the sand to reduce plugged ball lies by pushing the excess sand built up on the faces down to the bottoms of the bunkers)

BUNKER DRAINAGE - NOVEMBER 2013 - ONGOING
(After a much anticipated monsoon season in the summer of 2013 we were able to identify poorly drained areas around the golf course.  One of the areas we noticed that needed drainage improvements were the sand bunkers.  The scope of this project included over 25+ bunkers that needed some sort of drainage improvements!  Our goal was to re-establish proper drainage by removing the old drains and replacing the pipe and adequate gravel to allow water to drain into the pipe and into the storm drains on the golf course)

COURSE DRAINAGE - JANUARY 2014 - ONGOING
(The course drainage project encompasses all poorly drained areas located in all grassed areas with the highest priority being around our greens.  We've identified 20+ drains just around the greens that need proper drainage in order maintain a quality playing surface in those areas.  The project will include trenches that direct the water into a larger drain which is directly connected to the storm drainage system in the golf course)

GREENS IRRIGATION - JUNE 2014 - ONGOING
(This project involves moving the irrigation used for the greens and greens perimeters to the edge of the greens grass to improve water distribution uniformity on the greens surface.  By doing this, we will have more control over the moisture management of our greens during extreme temps we endure in the desert)

CLUBHOUSE LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION - OCTOBER 2014
(This project is will begin at the start of the construction of the new clubhouse)

TEE COMPLEX IRRIGATION - DECEMBER 2014
(This project will involve moving irrigation heads to a more effective position around the tee complexes to improve the water distribution uniformity)

NATIVE GRASS ESTABLISHMENT - 2015
(Scope of project to be determined)
